Blink Charging has partnered with Korian Belgium to deploy more than 200 electric vehicle charging points across 90 care facilities in Belgium, the companies said.

The rollout has already begun, with three locations currently operational. Most of the charging network is expected to be installed by the end of 2026.

Under Blink’s fully financed investment model, Korian will not bear upfront installation costs. Blink will retain ownership of the chargers and will handle installation, operation, maintenance and customer support for the charging network.

The charging stations will be accessible to employees, residents, visitors and the general public at Korian facilities. The two companies also plan to extend a similar deployment to Netherlands, where Korian operates additional care sites.

“As more drivers transition to EVs, it’s essential that we continue to provide this kind of accessible and high-quality infrastructure,” said Chris Carr. “We look forward to having the majority of the planned countrywide network for Belgium installed by end of 2026.”

Dominiek Beelen said the collaboration aligns with the company’s sustainability initiatives and broader corporate responsibility goals.

“We look forward to working closely with Blink to make these sustainability and accessibility goals a reality in Belgium and beyond,” Beelen said.

The deployment forms part of ongoing efforts across Belgium to expand EV charging infrastructure as electric vehicle adoption grows.
