Edenred has completed its acquisition of The Mobility House Solutions, strengthening its electric fleet charging capabilities and expanding its presence in the European fleet electrification market.
Following the transaction announced in June, the business will operate under the legal name Edenred E-Mobility GmbH, while continuing to offer its established charging and energy management solutions.
Expanding Fleet Charging Services
The acquisition combines the charging infrastructure and energy management expertise of the former The Mobility House subsidiary with the international customer network of UTA Edenred, Edenred’s business mobility platform.
UTA Edenred provides fuel cards, charging cards and fleet mobility services to more than 300,000 corporate customers worldwide.
At the centre of the acquired business remains the manufacturer-independent ChargePilot charging and energy management platform, designed to optimise charging operations, reduce electricity costs and prevent grid congestion for electric vehicle fleets.
End-to-End Electrification Solutions
Drawing on experience from more than 2,700 completed projects and over 2,500 actively managed fleet depots, Edenred E-Mobility GmbH will continue providing comprehensive electrification services for fleet operators, logistics companies, vehicle dealerships and property owners.
Its services include:
- Independent fleet electrification consulting
- Charging infrastructure design and installation
- Intelligent charging and energy management
- Technical support and maintenance
- Billing and payment services
- Home charging solutions for company vehicle drivers
The company aims to provide customers with an integrated charging platform covering depot, public and residential charging.
Strategic Shift for The Mobility House
For The Mobility House, the divestment marks a strategic realignment toward energy services.
The company will increase its focus on vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, energy trading and flexibility marketing, while maintaining a commercial relationship with Edenred through its Energy Unit.
Both companies intend to continue collaborating on integrating electric vehicle fleets into electricity markets as flexible energy assets.
Growth Across Europe
Managing Director Heiko Bayer said the completion of the transaction marks the beginning of the company’s next stage of expansion.
He expects demand for integrated business fleet charging solutions to continue increasing and believes Edenred’s international sales network will accelerate deployment across Europe.
Pierre Jalady, CEO of UTA Edenred and Edenred Mobility EMEA, said the acquisition strengthens Edenred’s fleet electrification strategy by adding advanced charging infrastructure expertise and ChargePilot’s intelligent energy management capabilities.
According to Jalady, the combined offering will enable fleet operators across Europe to simplify the transition to electric mobility while improving operational efficiency and lowering charging costs.
Edenred confirmed that existing customer contracts, business contacts and the company’s headquarters in Munich will remain unchanged. The established The Mobility House Solutions and ChargePilot brands will also continue to operate, with only the legal entity changing to Edenred E-Mobility GmbH.
