Serbia signed a 190 million euro deal with Stellantis to manufacture electric vehicles in Kragujevac, Serbia. According to Stellantis, a new electric compact model will begin production in Kragujevac from mid-2024, replacing the Fiat 500L minivan. Skoda has just restarted production of the all-electric Enyaq iV at its main plant in Mladá Boleslav. Previously, production of the all-electric Enyaq iV had stopped for several weeks due to supply chain bottlenecks. Lucid has just announced that it has signed an agreement with the government of Saudi Arabia for the purchase of up to 100,000 electric vehicles over the next 10 years. Under the agreement, the Saudi Arabian government committed to purchase 50,000 electric vehicles from Lucid, with the option to purchase an additional 50,000 vehicles over a ten-year period. Armstrong Electric Vehicles recently presented their first electric motor, the EB1 which is powered by a 6000W brushless DC engine. With this engine the power that can be generated reaches a top speed of 110 kilometers per hour (or about 68 mph). Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania has signed a cooperation agreement with German recycling company ALBA W&H Smart City.
