French startup Mob-Ion has officially launched its newest electric scooter, the AM1 which has received certification from the Association Franaise de Normalization (AFNOR). To be AFNOR certified, Mob-Ion AM1 has at least 50 percent local content and must be produced in France. The Mob-Ion AM1 comes with a battery made in Artigues-prs-Bordeaux. Meanwhile, in the suburbs of Nantes, all the electronic systems surrounding the battery and powertrain are made and manufactured there. Lexus took advantage of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 event to introduce its advanced car concept, the NX PHEV Off-Road. This concept car looks tough and sophisticated as an adventurous vehicle. The concept car is based on the 2022 Lexus NX 450H+, a rugged crossover with a unique exterior featuring a matte black grille, matte black door handles, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Volta Trucks, as a leading manufacturer and service provider of full-electric commercial vehicles, has confirmed that its company has prepared 7.5 and 12 ton electric truck variants. The new variant is claimed to be coming and has entered the engineering development stage with one design concept that has been selected. The World Rally Championship (WRC) is going through a new chapter in the development of its racing car technology starting in 2022.
