Mercedes-Benz has just unveiled a prototype of the VISION EQXX electric vehicle which is said to have a range of over 1,000 km (621 miles) on a single full charge. Swedish battery maker Northvolt has announced that it has successfully produced its first lithium-ion battery cell.
