Jeep launched the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe in the summer of 2021 and from December last year its products were on display at various dealers in Europe. Starting from Italy, Belgium, to Spain and Serbia.

Quoted from the official release, the 2022 Jeep Wrangler 4xe uses a capable plug-in hybrid powertrain. So that customers can travel with full electric power and without emissions.

The Wrangler 4xe features a propulsion system that combines two electric motors, a 2.0L I-4 engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission for near-silent propulsion and enhanced 4×4 off-road capability.

To stay connected, these new Jeep vehicles are equipped with the full suite of Uconnect Services for customers to enjoy an integrated toolkit that combines functionality, connectivity and service with ease of use.

Then, advanced technology content and a series of latest generation ADAS features including Automatic High Beam Headlight control, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus with Advanced brake assist and Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop can also be found in this product.

These are offered as standard on the 2022 models along with standard Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross-Path Detection, rearview camera and front and rear Park Assist on the previous model year.

Some of the exciting new highlights in the Jeep Wrangler 4xe include the tough Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) Gorilla Glass windshield which is available directly from the factory.

Gorilla Glass comes standard on the Rubicon and optional on the Sahara, which uses the same chemical strengthening technology as the phone’s screen.

The combination of an ultra-thin Gorilla Glass inner layer with a 52 percent thicker outer layer makes this windshield lightweight, durable and up to three times more resistant to rock cracking and off-road debris.

Then comes the exterior paint Silver Zynith Metallic Clear Coat, and High Velocity Metallic Clear Coat. Previously there were black, bright white, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Sting-Gray, Hydro Blue, plus Snazzberry and Sarge Green paints (both only available in the Sahara version).

With the introduction of the 2022 model, 100 percent of the Wrangler lineup will be offered as a plug-in hybrid version in the European market with left-hand drive.

Furthermore, Jeep will offer 70 percent of Jeep vehicles with an electric powertrain option that will go on sale in 2025.
