The Mercedes-EQ Formula E team launched four electric bicycle models at once last Wednesday (25/5/2022), namely: Formula E, Silver Arrows, Silver Arrows Sport, and Championship Edition. The Volkswagen ID.4 GTX driven by Rainer Zietlow and his Challenge4 team broke the Guinness World Record for the highest altitude (5,816 meters) achieved by an electric vehicle. BMW is developing a special platform for its future line-up of electric cars. The platform was named BMW Neue Klasse. Recently, Oliver Zipse as CEO of BMW gave several statements regarding his new EV platform, at the annual meeting of BMW shareholders. Mercedes plans to build electric vehicles with the latest architecture, namely the MMA Platform (Mercedes Modular Architecture) starting in 2024. The release of this platform will signal a change in the Mercedes lineup. The MMA (Mercedes Modular Architecture) platform will support the A-Class and C-Class electric vehicles.
