The Hummer EV has more than 77,500 orders that will not be affected by the price increase, as the price increase only applies to vehicles ordered on or after Saturday, GM said. Tesla has again raised prices for all of their electric vehicle models in the United States. Supply chain problems and rising raw material prices are the reasons Tesla’s car prices are rising again. Tesla raised the price of the Model Y by 5% to $65,990 from $62,990. The increase was forced to be done because the cost of raw materials such as aluminum to lithium which is used for the production of cars and batteries soared. In addition to raw material constraints, Tesla has also had to struggle for chips and other supplies due to industry-wide shortages. Elon Musk has…

Jeep plans to stop selling non-electric vehicles in most European markets by the end of this year. In contrast, in the US, its largest and most important market, Jeep’s plans remain unclear. The off-road synonymous brand plans to sell only hybrid vehicles in Europe in the near future and will have a small electric crossover planned for the market. In the US, however, progress on those plans has been much slower despite the brand’s successful 4xe model. However, that doesn’t mean that they don’t have a vision for the future of electrification in the American market. Christian Meunier, CEO of…
Aznom Automotive shows an electric MINI restomod dubbed the MINI E-Classic, which comes with a 14 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 140 km. When compared to the modern MINI Cooper SE, which has a range of no less than 177 km from a 32.6-kwh package, the MINI E-Classic is not too ‘wow’. However, there are still many interesting things that can be seen from this restomod. This Restomod can be said to be a bridge for the MINI Cooper of the past with technology that is more environmentally friendly and sustainable in the modern era. The…

The Fuso eCanter electric truck has been mass produced and has been marketed in various parts of the world such as Japan, the United States, and several European countries, which are intended for fleet consumers. In general, the front view of the Fuso eCanter is not much different from ordinary (conventional) fuso trucks in general, but on this Mitsubishi Fuso eCanter there are a few details that make it more futuristic, namely the words ‘Fuso’ on the back of a transparent acrylic which makes it look more modern and modern. ‘clean’. Interestingly, this electric truck has a wind deflector or…
German Transport Minister Volker Wissing voiced strong opposition to plans to ban the sale of new cars with internal combustion engines (ICE) throughout the European Union by 2035. “We don’t agree with the decision,” Wissing told reporters in Berlin. Wissing said the reason was that the ban would “discriminately discriminate against synthetic-fuel vehicles”. “We want to shape the transformation in a technologically open way. This includes registering new cars beyond 2035 if they are powered exclusively with synthetic fuels in a climate-neutral way,” he explained. The company says silencers made of alloy steel improve the thermal management of the car’s battery by 48 percent compared to other steels and reduce gearshift noise. It also more than doubles the durability of the gear reducer. The alloy steel will be used for the…
Members of the European Parliament voted in favor of an EU ban on fossil fuel cars starting in 2035. Quoted from Reuters, Thursday, this is also to accelerate Europe’s transition to electric vehicles (EV). The vote in parliament, held Wednesday (8/6) local time, supports a key pillar of the European Union’s plan to reduce emissions by 55 percent by 2030, from 1990 levels. Lawmakers backed a proposal made by the European Commission last year to call for a 100 percent reduction in CO2 emissions from new cars by 2035, which would make it impossible for automakers to sell fossil fuel…
