Nikola announced it has reached a deal to acquire battery pack supplier Romeo Power for $144 million. The deal is expected to see Nikola hold an important part of the supply chain. Following the deal, Romeo’s shares closed up about 27% on Monday; Nikola closed up nearly 8%.
