Xpeng Delivers 10,668 Vehicles in June, Rebounding 23.76% Year-on-Year

Xpeng announced today that it delivered 10,668 vehicles in June, marking a 23.76% increase compared to the same period last year and a 5.14% rise from May’s figures, according to data released by the electric vehicle (EV) maker.

The X9 MPV, a multi-purpose vehicle introduced earlier this year, contributed 1,687 units to June’s deliveries, bringing its cumulative total to 13,143 units since launch.

In the second quarter, Xpeng delivered 30,207 vehicles, reflecting a 30.17% year-on-year growth and a 38.43% increase from the first quarter. The company’s quarterly deliveries were within its projected range of 29,000 to 32,000 vehicles, as outlined in its guidance on May 21.

For the first half of 2024, Xpeng reported delivering 52,028 vehicles, up 25.57% from the previous year. Since its inception, the company has delivered a total of 452,339 vehicles.

Xpeng also announced plans to enhance its AI-powered in-car operating system, Tianji OS, with a major upgrade scheduled for the third quarter of this year. The company intends to accompany this upgrade with the official launch of Tianji OS in overseas markets.
