The DS Techeetah team is reinforced by two drivers who hold the Formula E world title. They set high targets during the race at Formula E Jakarta 2022, Saturday, June 4.
The race will take place at the Jakarta International e-Prix Circuit. The DS Techeetah team, which has two world champion drivers, is eyeing its first win of the 2021-22 Formula E racing season.
Team DS Techeetah’s driving lineup consists of Jean-Eric Vergne, who won Formula E twice (2017-18 and 2018-19) and Antonio Felix da Costa, who won Formula E in the 2019-20 season.

After eight rounds, Jean-Eric Vergne is now in third place with 95 points, his best finishes in second place in Rome and Berlin.

His teammate, Antonio Felix da Costa, who has just collected 49 points, is in 10th place and his best finish is in 4th position in Mexico.
“We are now in the middle of the season and we have confirmed our position since the start of the season. We are not the fastest but always at the pace regardless of the type of track,â said Leo Thomas, racing director for the DS Techeetah team.
“Nevertheless, we must not make mistakes and we have to score points in every lap to stay behind Mercedes,” he added in the team’s press release.
For the constructors’ standings, DS Techeetah is in third place behind the Mercedes-EQ team who lead the standings and ROKIT Venturi Racing in second place.

“In the past, the team was always competitive at the tracks we visited for the first time (wins in Sanya, Monaco, Bern, Berlin and Rome),” he said.
“I hope it shows that we are always more prepared than any other team for these conditions. Hopefully Jakarta is no exception and the team wants to win!â he insisted.
