Mitch Evans managed to poke forward and was not overtaken to become the winner of Formula E Rome 2022 on Saturday (9/4/2022).

Mitch Evans (Jaguar) managed to finish ahead of Robin Frijns (Envision) and Stoffel Vandoorne (Mercedes) who closed the Formula E Rome 2022 podium.

Stoffel Vandoorne himself started the course of Formula E Rome 2022 from pole position and had the lead until the first 15 minutes of the race.

However, Robin Frijns finally succeeded in taking the lead after overtaking Vandoorne at the fourth corner of the Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR.

Towards the end of the race, Vandoorne, who was still in the rear bumper of the Frijns, launched a counterattack to take over the lead again.

But not long after, Mitch Evans who rocketed up behind Vandoorne and Frijns from ninth starting position began to show his spurs.

Using Attack Mode, Evans overtakes Vandoorne who is now back behind Frijns.

Before then overtaking Frijns at the start/finish line, and immediately opened up the gap between the two.

In the final minutes of the race, Vandoorne used his fanboost to reclaim second place from the Frijns.

However, the Belgian racer was unable to catch up with Evans.

Mitch Evans also came out as the winner of Formula E Rome 2022, as well as presenting the first victory for the Jaguar team this season.

More specifically, Formula E Rome is where Evans won his first victory in the 2018-2019 season.

Behind Evans, there are Vandoorne and Frijns who close the podium positions in Formula E Rome 2022.

Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah) finished in fourth place ahead of Sam Bird (Jaguar) and his team mate, Antonio Felix da Costa.
