Cabify is adding 200 Skoda Elroq electric SUVs to its operations in Barcelona and Seville, expanding its use of battery-electric vehicles as part of its plan to make all rides on its platform emission-free by 2030.
The vehicles will be operated by Vecttor, Cabify’s Spanish subsidiary, as part of the mobility company’s broader fleet electrification strategy. The latest delivery follows the deployment of 120 Skoda Elroq models in Madrid in 2025, bringing the total number of Elroq vehicles in Cabify’s Spanish fleet to 320.
Skoda Builds Its Largest Electric Fleet in Spain
The 200 new vehicles represent Skoda’s largest electric vehicle fleet deployment in Spain to date. In Barcelona and Seville, the Elroq models will support the replacement of vehicles in Cabify’s existing fleet, with a significant share of the new units allocated to operations in the Andalusian capital.
The expansion strengthens the partnership between the automaker and the Spanish mobility provider, which is working to reduce emissions across its services through the introduction of electric vehicles.
Elroq 85 Selection Offers Up to 570 Kilometres of WLTP Range
The vehicles supplied are the Skoda Elroq 85 Selection, equipped with an 82-kWh battery and a WLTP driving range of approximately 570 kilometres. In urban driving conditions, the model can achieve a range of up to 720 kilometres.
The electric SUV supports DC fast charging at up to 175 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes. It also features a heat pump.
Cabify Reaffirms Its 2030 Decarbonisation Target
The fleet expansion supports Cabify’s 2030 Decarbonisation Plan, which aims to ensure that all journeys booked through its platform are completed using zero-emission vehicles.
Alberto González, Managing Director of Cabify Spain, highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership with Skoda and reaffirmed the company’s long-term commitment.
“We remain steadfast in our 2030 decarbonisation plan and pursue the clear goal of ensuring all Cabify rides take place in zero-emission vehicles. The partnership with Skoda is a strategic step, as we share common values, visions, and a clear objective.”
Skoda Spain Managing Director Fidel Jiménez de Parga also highlighted the delivery of 320 vehicles in just over a year and announced further expansion of the partnership.
Skoda Expands Corporate Fleet Deliveries in Spain
The Cabify agreement forms part of Skoda’s wider business-to-business activity in the Iberian Peninsula, where the automaker is supplying electric vehicles to companies and public institutions.
Other recent orders include 167 Skoda Enyaq vehicles for energy company Endesa and 90 Enyaq units for Spain’s Guardia Civil.
The Elroq has also established a strong position in the European electric vehicle market, ranking second among the region’s best-selling electric cars and regularly appearing among the top ten electric models in Spain. The Cabify deployment adds another large-scale fleet application as demand for the model grows.
