Hyundai continues to attract attention with its electric cars. This time, the South Korean manufacturer is rumored to be launching the Ioniq 7.
Successfully releasing the Ioniq 5 with a crossover model, Hyundai has recently been rumored to be preparing another electric car. The car will use a sedan model and is named Ioniq 6.
Quoted from Motor1.com, Saturday (7/5/2022), the Ioniq 7 is said to be present in 2024 as a three-row electric crossover. This seven-passenger car will be the tallest model in Hyundai’s electric vehicle lineup.

Reportedly, the production version will not be much different from the Hyundai Seven Concept. Gotcha Cars also made a rendering as a guide to imagine how the original Ioniq 7 would look like.
The front looks like a blend of several Hyundai models. There is a touch of Palisade to the design of the headlights and Staria to the LEDs that extend from end to end under the logo.
For the door, Seven Concept describes the Ioniq 7 with a suicide door model. So, other people can see into the cabin better. However, the production version is believed to use the traditional door model.

As for platforms, such as the Ioniq 5, it is believed that the Ioniq 7 will also rely on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and have an 800 volt architecture.
The system supports fast charging systems of up to 350 kilowatts, which allows recharging from 10 to 80 percent in 10 minutes.
The Ioniq 7 production car will reportedly use a 100 kilowatt-hour battery with an estimated range of around 300 miles (483 kilometers).
An electric motor will drive each shaft. In total, the combined output is estimated at 308 horsepower (230 kilowatts).
Inside, the concept car uses sustainable materials such as mineral plaster and bamboo wood.
He also has a Hygiene Airflow System with UVC Sterilization, so residents can breathe clean air.
There is no info yet whether the production version will also have these features.

In addition, the Ioniq 7 is rumored to be embedded with a more sophisticated driving assistance system. Its autonomous driving capabilities will be at level 3.
This means that the electric vehicle is capable of handling various road conditions. However, the driver must remain alert to take control.
Hyundai is investing $7.4 billion into the company’s operations in the United States through 2025.
That will include the construction of an electric vehicle in Uncle Sam’s country by 2022. The model will reportedly be the Ioniq 6, which is an electric sedan.
