Nissan prepares performance electric vehicles through Nismo Badge

Nissan still hasn’t lost its interest in delivering high-performance cars. In fact, the Japanese brand is already planning to make a high-performance car powered by pure electricity.

Nismo will most likely be asked by the manufacturer to develop it. This is not much different from BMW asking M, Mercedes-Benz asking AMG, or Toyota asking Gazoo Racing.

Nissan’s competitors are also introducing high-performance models, such as Volkswagen with the GTX model. For that Nissan wants to present an electric model that really offers high performance.

“Nismo is an asset that we have. And it is something we want to revitalize,” said Nissan Europe head Guillaume Cartier.

“In essence, this is not a gimmick. So this requires some investment to ensure that the product you have has high performance,” he continued.

Furthermore, according to Cartier, although it is not easy to do, the ingredients are quite simple. “The point is like the Nissan Ariya, this is a challenge because we have a big battery with high performance. So we have to go higher than that,” he explained.

Of course, it is very interesting how the results of the Nismo concoction car. It is worth waiting for the realization.
