Batteries Event 2026

Batteries Event 2026 will take place at the Cité Internationale Congress Center in Lyon, France, bringing together decision-makers, industrial leaders, researchers, investors, startups and technology specialists from across the global battery ecosystem. The international event has been a major meeting point for the battery industry for nearly three decades.
The three-day program will cover the battery value chain from materials and manufacturing to recycling, second-life applications and advanced energy-storage technologies. The 2026 edition will place particular emphasis on industrial scale-up, battery manufacturing competitiveness, gigafactory execution, the European battery ecosystem and next-generation battery technologies.
Key topics will include battery manufacturing, industrialization, gigafactories, battery materials, cell technologies, testing, certification, reliability, safety, recycling, second life, circular economy, regulation, battery passports, CO₂ footprints, investment and financing, workforce development and supply-chain resilience.
The event will combine high-level plenary sessions, expert conferences, parallel technical sessions, thematic workshops, an international exhibition, poster sessions and networking opportunities. The 2026 edition is expected to attract more than 1,000 attendees, with more than 150 speakers and over 100 exhibitors and sponsors.
Batteries Event 2026 will also feature dedicated opportunities for startups and industrial collaboration, providing a platform for companies, researchers and investors to discover emerging technologies and develop partnerships across batteries, energy storage and electrification.
