Honda will introduce a redesigned “H mark” on its next-generation electric vehicles and major hybrid models starting in 2027, underscoring the Japanese automaker’s strategic focus on electrification as the global car industry undergoes rapid technological change.
The new emblem will first appear on Honda’s upcoming EVs, including models from the Honda 0 Series, before being rolled out more broadly across dealerships, corporate communications and the company’s automobile motorsport activities. Honda said the phased introduction reflects the central role electrified vehicles will play in its future portfolio.

The updated H mark represents a visual departure from previous versions of the logo that have been used over several decades. Honda said the new design depicts “two outstretched hands,” symbolising the company’s intention to expand mobility possibilities and respond more closely to customer needs as vehicles become increasingly electric and software-driven.
Honda first introduced the H mark in 1963, and it has since undergone multiple revisions alongside the automaker’s global expansion and technological development. The latest redesign is positioned as part of a broader transformation, as Honda seeks to deliver what it describes as new value through electrification and intelligent technologies.
