The company’s overseas growth efforts extend beyond exports. GWM is planning its first vehicle manufacturing facility in Europe, targeting annual production capacity of up to 300,000 vehicles by 2029, Reuters reported in November, citing a senior company executive.
GWM is also building out production in emerging markets. Earlier this month, the automaker marked the rollout of its 10,000th vehicle from its assembly plant in Uzbekistan, two years after operations began, underlining its expanding manufacturing footprint outside China.

On the product front, GWM’s Tank brand introduced a refreshed Tank 400 sport utility vehicle in early November, adding new hybrid and internal combustion engine variants as it seeks to strengthen its position in China’s competitive off-road SUV segment.
As of the end of November, GWM said its cumulative global vehicle sales exceeded 16 million units, reflecting sustained growth at home and abroad amid intensifying competition in the global auto market.
