Great Wall Motor Company Limited (GWM) recorded its highest-ever third-quarter results, driven by robust growth in new energy vehicle (NEV) sales and expanding global operations, according to the company’s latest financial report released on October 24.
The automaker posted revenue of 61.25 billion yuan ($8.4 billion) for the third quarter of 2025, up 20.5% from a year earlier and 17.1% higher than the previous quarter. Vehicle sales totaled around 353,600 units, an increase of 20.2% year-on-year, also setting a new quarterly record. NEV sales rose sharply by 49.2% to 118,000 units, while overseas sales reached 136,500 vehicles, up 11.2% year-on-year.

For the first nine months of the year, GWM reported total revenue of 153.58 billion yuan, up 8% from the previous year and marking its strongest cumulative performance on record. Between January and September, vehicle sales reached about 923,400 units, an increase of 8.15% from the same period in 2024. NEV sales accounted for 278,500 units, up 31.7% year-on-year, while overseas deliveries climbed to 334,200 units, an increase of 3.1%.
The company’s third-quarter success was supported by a continued shift toward high-value and premium vehicles. Models priced above 200,000 yuan totaled 101,300 units sold, up 40.8% year-on-year, reflecting growing consumer confidence in the brand’s premium strategy.

Across its portfolio, GWM introduced several updated and new models. Haval launched the 2026 Big Dog, Big Dog PLUS, and Menglong SUVs to strengthen its presence in the competitive SUV market. WEY, GWM’s premium NEV brand, expanded its high-end lineup with the Gaoshan MPV and the Gaoshan 7, which entered the market in mid-October.
TANK continued to grow its off-road range with the launch of the new TANK 500 and the presale of the TANK 400, while ORA reinforced its electric lineup with the 2025 Good Cat and Good Cat GT Mulan Edition. In the pickup segment, the performance-focused V6 Cannon, introduced in late September, quickly gained popularity among off-road enthusiasts.

In the commercial vehicle sector, the GWM G1050 hybrid heavy-duty truck continued to attract logistics customers by offering enhanced performance and reduced fuel consumption.
Globally, GWM expanded its manufacturing footprint with the start of operations at its new plant in Iracemápolis, São Paulo, Brazil, on August 15. The facility strengthens the automaker’s production capacity in South America and underscores its long-term international growth strategy.
