The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) has announced 29 new commercial deployment agreements for autonomous mobility technologies, marking a significant transition from pilot projects to large-scale commercial operations.
The deals, unveiled during the Abu Dhabi Autonomous Summit, position the emirate among the first global cities to develop a fully integrated, multi-modal regulatory and infrastructure ecosystem for autonomous transportation.

The agreements span multiple sectors — including e-commerce, healthcare logistics, and industrial transport — and involve partnerships with leading organizations such as Talabat, Noon, Aramex, Emirates Post, and PureLab. These collaborations will support last-mile delivery operations, medical logistics, and industrial automation, using both air and ground-based autonomous systems.
The initiative is part of a broader strategy guided by the Smart and Autonomous Systems Council (SASC), which is developing regulatory frameworks to enable safe, scalable deployment of autonomous technologies.

According to Badr Al-Olama, Director General of ADIO, “Abu Dhabi is leading the transformation in smart mobility and logistics, with these 29 commercial pilot agreements marking a decisive step toward a future where autonomous technologies set new standards for transportation and trade.” The framework established by SASC addresses three critical areas — infrastructure development, regulatory alignment, and safety protocols — to ensure secure and efficient commercial operations.
On the ground, Sinaha Technology, an Abu Dhabi-based automation company, is deploying autonomous ground vehicles (AGVs) and intelligent warehouse systems that leverage artificial intelligence for efficiency and reduced emissions.

Autologix, a joint venture between 7X and Zelostech, has partnered with Emirates Post to roll out Level 4 autonomous cargo vehicles built without a driver’s cab or steering wheel, signaling a move toward next-generation logistics infrastructure.
In the air, LODD Autonomous is advancing drone delivery pilots in collaboration with PureLab, EMX, Noon, and Aramex, focusing on medical sample transport, parcel delivery, and mail distribution using unmanned aerial systems. Meanwhile, K2 is leading partnerships with Talabat, ENEC, and the Department of Municipalities and Transport to expand last-mile delivery networks through AI-powered electric vehicles, drones, and robotic street sweepers.
