Lucid Motors said on Thursday it has expanded its retail and service footprint in the U.S. Northeast with the opening of a new showroom, service center, and delivery hub in Rutherford, New Jersey, as the electric vehicle manufacturer continues to bolster its presence in key regional markets.
The new site marks Lucid’s 43rd location in North America and 58th globally, according to the company. “New Jersey drivers have increasingly embraced the award-winning performance, range, and design of Lucid,” said Erwin Raphael, vice president of Revenue at Lucid, in a statement. “We are delighted to open this expansive new studio and service center for our area customers.”

The Rutherford location joins existing Lucid facilities in Short Hills, NJ; White Plains, Manhattan, Plainview, and Manhasset in New York; and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, as part of the EV maker’s Tri-State area network.
Earlier this week, Lucid reaffirmed its 2025 production guidance, maintaining a target of nearly 20,000 vehicles for the year. The outlook comes as some global automakers scale back targets amid rising tariffs and softening demand for fully electric models. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimate Lucid’s annual production at approximately 18,370 units.

To stimulate demand in a competitive luxury EV segment, Lucid is offering purchase incentives of more than $20,000 on select 2025 Air models during May. The 2025 Lucid Air Touring, for example, is now available with combined savings that include a $10,000 Air Credit, $7,500 EV credit, and other incentives. Lease offers for the model start at $599 per month for 36 months.
