IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC 2026)

The 23rd IEEE Vehicle Power and Propulsion Conference (VPPC 2026) will take place from October 5–9, 2026, in Lyon, France. Organized under the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society, the conference brings together engineers, researchers and industry professionals working on vehicle power, propulsion, electrification and related transportation technologies.
VPPC 2026 features keynote presentations, technical and tutorial sessions, poster presentations, special and invited sessions, workshops and exhibitions. The conference is structured around technical areas covering energy storage and generation, power electronics, motor drives, electric power systems, vehicular electronics, intelligent transportation, control and energy management, and transportation modeling and simulation.
The program also addresses charging systems and infrastructure, hydrogen fueling infrastructure, fuel-cell vehicles and electric railways.
