Zerova is presenting its megawatt charging system (MCS) dispenser for electric trucks and buses in Europe for the first time at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hanover. The satellite charging unit can deliver up to 1,440 kW of charging power through its MCS connection.
Separate Power Cabinets And Charging Point
The dispenser uses Zerova’s existing DO360 and DZ480 power cabinets, separating the power electronics from the charging point. The DO360 supports an output voltage range of 150 to 950 V DC, while the DZ480 operates between 200 and 950 V DC.
The system uses liquid-cooled charging cables available in five- or seven-metre lengths. The cables can be fitted with either MCS or CCS connectors.
The maximum 1,440-kW output, equivalent to 1,500 A, applies to the MCS connection. Zerova has not specified the maximum charging power available through the CCS connection.
Charging And Connectivity Features
The dispenser is operated through a 10.4-inch touchscreen. Authentication options include RFID, QR code and Plug & Charge, while a credit card terminal is available as an option.
Backend connectivity is supported through OCPP 1.6J and OCPP 2.0.1. Zerova said the system meets CE requirements and complies with IEC 61851-1 and IEC 61851-23 standards for use across the European Union and European Economic Area.

Zerova said the system is designed for fleet depots as well as charging parks located along long-haul routes.
Targeting Heavy-Duty Electrification
The company is positioning the MCS dispenser for the growing electric heavy-duty transport sector, where truck manufacturers and charging operators are developing higher-power charging infrastructure for freight routes.
Zerova said the new system extends its existing experience in depot and fleet charging into the megawatt charging segment for electric trucks and long-distance buses.

Zerova is displaying the MCS dispenser alongside its existing DC charging products at IAA Transportation in Hanover, at Stand C20 in Hall 13.
