UK-based energy and fleet electrification specialist Zenobē has acquired U.S. fleet electrification provider Revolv from GDEV Management, marking its entry into the North American commercial fleet and truck market.
The acquisition includes 13 operational sites in California, more than 100 electric trucks and a pipeline of additional projects under development. Zenobē will assume operational control of the assets and integrate Revolv’s team to maintain continuity for existing customers and ongoing deployments.
Zenobē, backed by investors including KKR and Infracapital, said the deal strengthens its presence in North America, complementing its existing activities in school bus and public transport electrification across the United States and Canada.
Andreas Lips said the acquisition aligns with the company’s regional growth strategy. “Revolv’s end-to-end fleet electrification model is highly complementary to Zenobē’s global experience and our growth plans in North America,” he said. “This acquisition strengthens our ability to provide flexible, end-to-end solutions at scale across North America.”
Revolv has developed a turnkey electrification model covering vehicle deployment, charging infrastructure and operational services, aimed at supporting commercial fleet operators transitioning to electric vehicles. The platform has been deployed across multiple sites in California.
Steven Meersman said the transaction would accelerate adoption of electric fleets. “This is a strong opportunity to accelerate electrification at scale, by pairing Revolv’s fleet electrification platform with our deep experience and unique financing models,” he said.
GDEV Management described the sale as the first exit from its second investment fund, noting that Revolv had built its platform despite uncertain market conditions.
Scott Davidson said the deal reflects growing confidence in commercial fleet electrification. “We applaud Zenobē’s shared confidence in the inevitability of commercial fleet electrification, and this transaction validates the platform we built to serve the market at scale,” he said. “As the market enters its next phase, this transaction provides the scale, capital, and capabilities customers need to fully embrace commercial EVs.”
Zenobē said the acquisition will support further expansion of its fleet electrification services in North America, particularly in the commercial truck segment.
