Zeekr, the distinguished electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary under Geely Holding Group, has commenced the delivery of its latest Zeekr X electric SUVs to the European market. Just a month after initiating shipments of the Zeekr 001, Zeekr’s first offering to the European audience, the Zeekr X has officially rolled off the assembly line at Zeekr’s factory and is now en route to European shores.
This European version of the Zeekr X boasts an impressive array of features tailored to the discerning European driver. It comes equipped with comprehensive map navigation support covering 32 European countries and offers communication capabilities with the vehicle through voice commands, ensuring a seamless driving experience.
One notable highlight is the Zeekr X’s chassis, meticulously tuned by a European engineering team to meet the rigorous five-star crash standards set by E-NCAP.

Zeekr unveiled its ambitious European strategy on April 18th during the Shanghai auto show, outlining its commitment to a direct-to-customer business model for European EV enthusiasts.
On June 27th, Zeekr initiated pre-sales of both the Zeekr 001 and Zeekr X in Europe, with starting prices of 59,490 euros ($63,400) and 44,990 euros, respectively. Sweden and the Netherlands are set to be the first markets to receive these models, with deliveries expected to commence later this year.
The first Zeekr 001s designed for European customers started production on August 2, followed by their shipment to the Netherlands on August 25.
Looking ahead, Zeekr plans to initiate vehicle deliveries in Sweden and the Netherlands in the fourth quarter of this year, gradually expanding its presence to encompass six European countries by 2024. The company remains resolute in its pursuit of an international footprint, aiming to reach eight countries by 2025.
Zeekr, which officially emerged as an independent entity in March 2021, initially introduced the Zeekr 001 on April 15, 2021, with deliveries commencing in October 2021. Subsequently, on November 1, 2022, Zeekr unveiled the Zeekr 009 MPV, with deliveries commencing on January 15, 2023.
On April 12, 2023, Zeekr showcased its third model, the Zeekr X, with deliveries commencing in China on June 12, 2023. Most recently, on September 1, Zeekr unveiled the Zeekr 001 FR electric supercar, although pricing details have not yet been disclosed, it is anticipated to exceed RMB 1 million.

As of now, the regular Zeekr 001 starts at RMB 269,000 in China, the Zeekr X at RMB 189,800, and the Zeekr 009 at RMB 499,000.
Zeekr’s growth trajectory continues on an upward trajectory, with an August 2023 record high of 12,303 vehicle deliveries, marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 71.69 percent and a month-on-month rise of 2.19 percent, according to data released on September 1.
With the Zeekr X’s European debut, Zeekr’s commitment to expanding its presence in the global EV market is firmly on course, promising exciting developments in the coming years.
