Zeekr has opened pre-sales for its 9X large luxury hybrid SUV, debuting the model at the 2025 Chengdu auto show on Friday. The official launch is scheduled for late September.
The Zeekr 9X, the company’s first hybrid model, starts at RMB 479,900 ($67,340) during pre-sales, making it one of the highest-priced vehicles from a Chinese automaker. Three variants—Max, Ultra and Hyper—are priced at RMB 479,900, RMB 499,900 and RMB 569,900 respectively. Customers placing a RMB 5,000 deposit will receive a RMB 10,000 discount on the final payment. As is common in China’s automotive market, the official launch price is expected to come in slightly lower.
The six-seat SUV measures 5,239 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 3,169 mm. Built on Zeekr’s SEA-S platform, introduced in July as the industry’s first luxury hybrid architecture based on an all-electric design, the 9X combines a 2.0T engine with three silicon carbide motors delivering a peak output of 1,030 kW (1,381 hp). The model accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.
Battery options include 55 kWh and 70 kWh packs, offering CLTC ranges of 300 km and 380 km respectively. Both support charging rates up to 6C, enabling a 20–80% charge in about nine minutes.
The 9X comes standard with Zeekr’s G-Pilot H9 driver assistance suite, the brand’s first to support level 3 autonomous driving. The system is powered by dual Nvidia Drive AGX Thor chips with computing power of up to 1,400 TOPS and supported by five LiDAR sensors.
