Xiaomi EV is set to launch its high-performance electric sedan, the SU7 Ultra, in China on February 27, priced at 814,900 yuan ($111,790). The SU7 Ultra features a peak power output of 1,526 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.98 seconds.
Pre-sales for the SU7 Ultra began on October 29, 2024, with 3,680 orders placed within the first 10 minutes. Initially scheduled for a March 2025 release, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun announced an earlier launch date of February 27. The company aims to sell 10,000 units of the SU7 Ultra in 2025. On February 11, the vehicle set a record at the Chengdu Tianfu Circuit, becoming the fastest car on the track.

On February 14, Xiaomi unveiled a new “Cosmic Silver” exterior color for the SU7 Ultra, complementing the previously available yellow option.
The silver variant features golden emblems, yellow brake calipers, black rims, and a carbon fiber roof. The company plans to offer a total of five color options for the SU7 Ultra, while the standard SU7 sedan comes in ten colors, including the recently introduced “Magenta” shade.
The SU7 Ultra measures 5,115 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,465 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. It is equipped with a rear spoiler spanning 1,560 mm, providing 285 kg of downforce, and rides on 21-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero 5 tires. The vehicle also features the largest carbon-ceramic brake discs installed on a sports car to date.
Powered by a 93.7 kWh CATL Qilin 2.0 battery, the SU7 Ultra’s three electric motors deliver a combined peak power of 1,138 kW (1,526 hp) and 1,770 Nm of torque. The sedan reaches a top speed of 350 km/h.

Priced at 814,900 yuan in China (approximately $114,200), the SU7 Ultra is positioned competitively against models like the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT, which is priced at 1,998,000 yuan (about $280,000) in the Chinese market.
