Xiaomi EV, the automotive arm of tech giant Xiaomi, is ramping up production capacity to meet robust demand for its SU7 model, reassuring customers with accelerated delivery timelines and plans for further expansion.
In a recent communication posted on Weibo, Xiaomi EV informed prospective buyers and order holders of ongoing efforts to enhance production capabilities, particularly for the popular Xiaomi SU7. “The delivery ramp-up of Xiaomi SU7 is progressing well, with the commencement of double-shift production in June and over 10,000 units delivered in a single month,” stated Xiaomi EV.

Starting July 1, delivery times for the SU7 series have been expedited by up to five weeks following order confirmation, the company disclosed. “Additionally, we are set to implement new rounds of production line optimization and maintenance to facilitate future capacity increases,” Xiaomi EV assured in its communication.
Despite the optimization efforts, Xiaomi EV affirmed its commitment to surpassing 10,000 units delivered in July, aiming to maintain momentum without disruptions to customer expectations.

Xiaomi launched the SU7, its inaugural model, on March 28, featuring variants such as standard, Pro, and Max, priced from RMB 215,900 ($29,700) upwards. The model series has garnered significant attention in the market, reflecting Xiaomi’s entry into the competitive automotive sector with a blend of innovation and consumer appeal.
