U.S. real estate firm WS Development said it is rolling out hyper-fast electric vehicle charging across its retail destinations in partnership with Electrify America, with the first stations set to go live in Massachusetts.
Under the agreement, Electrify America will provide a white-label charging solution, while WS Development will own and operate the charging stations at its properties. The initial phase will cover more than 15 WS Development sites nationwide, with additional locations planned across Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Illinois and California. Further sites and commissioning dates are expected to be announced from early 2026.

“Partnering with Electrify America allows us to take another meaningful step toward making sustainability part of the everyday experience at our properties,” said Jake Stahl, chief financial officer of WS Development. “We’re proud to offer our visitors the convenience of fast, reliable EV charging while investing in clean energy solutions that support the future of our communities.”
Through the white-label model, the charging stations will be fully integrated into the Electrify America network. Drivers will be able to locate chargers, check availability, initiate charging sessions and make payments using the Electrify America mobile app, the companies said.

Electrify America said the partnership extends its charging footprint into high-traffic retail destinations, enabling drivers to charge while shopping or dining. “Our white label solution enables WS Development to operate its own charging network while leveraging Electrify America’s trusted technology, network scale, and seamless experience,” said Rachel Moses, senior director of sales, business development and marketing at Electrify America.
The rollout comes as U.S. property owners and charging operators increasingly target retail and mixed-use developments as strategic locations for fast-charging infrastructure, aiming to align EV charging with everyday consumer activity and support broader adoption of electric vehicles.
