Lexus took advantage of the Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 event to introduce its advanced car concept, the NX PHEV Off-Road. This concept car looks tough and sophisticated as an adventurous vehicle.
The concept car is based on the 2022 Lexus NX 450H+, a rugged crossover with a unique exterior featuring a matte black grille, matte black door handles, and 17-inch wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires.
The concept also features a contrasting Iron Oxide exterior with smoked accents in the mirrors, window frames and badges. The car also has matte black roof rails and matching matte black cargo racks.
Lexus didn’t specify the powertrain itself, but the 2022 NX 450h+ has the heart of the PHEV, which consists of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery and several electric motors.
With these specifications, this car is capable of producing a combined power of 302 Tk (222 kW/306 Ps) and has a range of 60 km on electricity alone.
