Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast has signed agreements to supply a total of 20,000 electric cars to two Indonesian transport companies, marking one of the largest EV fleet commitments in the country.
The automaker recently signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Satu Kosong Tujuh and PT Sembilan Benua Abadi. Under the agreements, each company plans to acquire 10,000 vehicles from VinFast.

PT Sembilan Benua Abadi aims to complete its purchases by the end of 2027, while PT Satu Kosong Tujuh has set a deadline of 2028.
The order will include VinFast’s Nerio Green sub-compact SUV and the Limo Green mid-size MPV, although the company did not specify how many units of each model will be delivered. VinFast introduced the Limo Green in Indonesia last month at the Indonesia International Motor Show.
“We are impressed with Nerio Green and Limo Green not only for the product quality but also for the sustainable development orientation that these two models represent,” said Wempy Suciadi, general director of PT Sembilan Benua Abadi.

Nirzam Pahmi, general director of PT Satu Kosong Tujuh, added: “We have confidence in VinFast and its potential to build a comprehensive, inclusive, and accessible green transportation ecosystem.”
The Nerio Green electric SUV measures 4,300 mm in length and is equipped with a single front-mounted motor producing 110 kW and 250 Nm of torque. The vehicle uses a 41.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, providing a driving range of about 318.6 km under the NEDC test cycle.
The Limo Green MPV, designed to seat seven passengers in a 2+3+2 layout, features a more powerful 150 kW motor and a larger 60.13 kWh LFP battery pack. VinFast says the model can travel up to 450 km on a single charge under the same testing standard.

VinFast has not yet disclosed the Indonesian price of the Nerio Green, but the Limo Green is offered at around 389 million rupiah (about €19,800). The company also offers a battery-as-a-service option for the MPV, allowing customers to purchase the vehicle at a lower upfront cost and pay a monthly subscription for battery use.
