BYD has introduced the refreshed Atto 3 electric crossover in China, with a starting price of 115,800 yuan ($15,940), making it 1,000 yuan ($140) cheaper than the previous model.
The updated vehicle features a revised design, an advanced God’s Eye C (DiPilot 100) driver-assistance system, and a built-in refrigerator. Known as the Yuan Plus in China and select global markets, the Atto 3 has faced increased competition, leading to a decline in domestic sales. BYD delivered 275,233 units last year, an 11.1% drop from 2023.

In response, the automaker has introduced exterior refinements such as a larger air intake, smoked headlights, blackened D-pillars, and a redesigned rear with the BYD emblem replacing the “Build Your Dreams” inscription.
The dimensions remain unchanged at 4,455 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,615 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.

Inside, the 2025 Atto 3 features two new color options—beige and gray—along with a redesigned center console that includes an updated gear shifter, cup holders, physical buttons, and a 50W wireless charging pad.
It also boasts a new 8.8-inch instrument cluster, a 12-inch head-up display, and an A-pillar-mounted driver monitoring camera. A notable addition is the built-in refrigerator.

The updated Atto 3 is equipped with the God’s Eye C intelligent driving system, also known as DiPilot 100, which utilizes a tri-camera setup beneath the windshield. The system currently supports high-speed Navigation On Autopilot (NOA) with 10 driving scenarios and will later be updated to include city NOA functionality.
The powertrain remains unchanged, featuring a front-mounted 150 kW (201 hp) electric motor. Two LFP battery options are available: 49.9 kWh for a 430 km range and 60.5 kWh for a 510 km range under CLTC conditions.
