Unplugged Performance has introduced the UP-RW Cyber Road Warrior, a forged 20-inch wheel engineered specifically for the Tesla Cybertruck. The model extends the company’s Road Warrior series — previously developed for the Model 3 and Model Y — with a focus on durability, aerodynamic efficiency and compatibility with heavy-duty electric vehicles.
Built from 6061-T6 forged aluminum, the UP-RW carries a 1,450kg load rating intended to meet the Cybertruck’s high mass, torque and towing requirements. The company said the forging process produces a denser and more robust structure than conventional cast wheels, helping withstand extreme mechanical stress. Real-world durability goals include improved resistance to bending, cracking and fatigue during daily and off-road use.

Aerodynamic performance was a central component of the wheel’s development. The UP-RW features a flat-face aero design aimed at reducing turbulence and maintaining airflow stability. According to Unplugged Performance, controlled testing with three identical Dual Motor Long Range Cybertrucks showed the wheel performed on par with Tesla’s Core Wheel — the OEM’s most efficient 20-inch option — and slightly better than the Foundation Series Cyberwheel. The company said these results validate its efficiency targets for real-world operation.
A practical maintenance feature is the wheel’s replaceable aluminum curb-guard ring, which protects the main structure from cosmetic damage caused by curb contact or debris. The ring can be replaced without removing the tire, offering a cost-effective approach to long-term appearance upkeep. The wheel is also designed for direct factory fitment, allowing existing 20-inch Cybertruck tires to be mounted without modification.
