UK-based charge point aggregator Paua has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) charging network through a new partnership with E.on Drive Infrastructure (EDRI), adding 22 locations and 177 high-powered connectors. The integration brings Paua’s total network to over 65,000 connectors, as it continues to focus on supporting commercial fleet electrification.
The newly integrated sites feature high-speed chargers and are designed to accommodate a range of fleet vehicle sizes. Paua has introduced a three-tier classification system—small, medium, and large—to help fleet operators identify appropriate charging stations based on vehicle dimensions. The ‘medium vehicle’ category includes models such as Luton vans and 7.5-tonne trucks, which are larger than typical passenger cars but smaller than articulated lorries.
“This isn’t just more plugs in more places,” said Paua CEO and co-founder Niall Riddell. “It’s smart infrastructure, aligned with fleet needs; high-powered, strategically located, and ready for the real-world diversity of electric vehicles hitting the road. Our partners continue to develop leading infrastructure making the transition easier.”
The E.on integration is the latest in a series of strategic collaborations for Paua this year. In recent months, the company has partnered with truck charging network Milence and launched its Paua Share initiative, which allows commercial fleets to charge at shared First Bus depots.
E.on has also been expanding its own charging footprint, with recent announcements of new ultra-rapid stations in Scotland and fast-charging infrastructure on the German-Danish border.
