It looks like Triumph’s electric motor, called Project TE-1, will soon be on its way to production.

In collaboration with Williams Advanced Engineering, Integral Powertrain Limited and the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at the University of Warwick, Triumph finally successfully completed phase four of Project TE-1 testing in late May.

Although it has completed the final stage of testing, Triumph has not yet disclosed full details about Project TE-1.

The British motorcycle manufacturer plans to announce everything about this prototype on 12 July 2022.

Project TE-1 was first announced to the public in March 2021. It is unclear how long the project will be in the planning and discussion stages before all the companies start working together.

However, 16 months is quite an impressive turnaround time to finish testing this electric motor.
