Toyota bZ4X price revealed, start at just under £42,000

Toyota has shown off a row of electric cars that will soon be launched. Although, most of it is still in the form of a concept.

One of the highlights is the electric car that is included in the sport utility vehicle (SUV) category, namely the bZ4X. This car is planned to be sold in the UK starting next year.

bZ4X was built as a result of a joint venture between Toyota and Subaru. Meanwhile, Subaru has launched a car identical to the Solterra name.

This environmentally friendly car will reportedly be priced starting from 41,950 pounds. Comes with four variants, from Pure, Motion, Vision, and Premiere.

For the Pure variant, it is equipped with 18-inch diameter rims. In the cabin, there is an 8-inch display screen, reverse camera, climate control system, and keyless entry.

The power possessed by the electric motor reaches 201 tk and is channeled directly to the front wheels. Its power is stored in a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 71.4 kWh. The mileage is claimed to be up to 128 km.

While the Motion variant, you can choose between a front-wheel drive system (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). The power generated can reach 215 tk.

Pure and Motion variants have the same top speed, which is 160 kph. Regarding the acceleration ability, the AWD drive system is faster to move from rest to 100 kph, which is 7.7 seconds.

The Motion variant will start at £45,750 for the FWD drive system, and £48,350 million for the AWD drive system.

This variant has additional features, such as rear privacy glass, power tailgate, parking sensors, heated front seats, wireless phone charging, and a rear spoiler. There are also additional options for a panoramic roof and 20-inch rims, as well as additional safety features.

While on the Vision variant, 20-inch rims become standard. Likewise with parking sensors with automatic braking function, seats wrapped in leather, and seats equipped with heating and ventilation. In addition, there is also a heated steering wheel feature, which of course will not exist if this car is marketed in Indonesia.

The Vision variant is also equipped with a digital key so that the car can be used with a smartphone application. The FWD drive system will be priced at £47,650, and the AWD drive system will be priced at £50,250.

The highest variant, the Premiere Edition, will have everything in the Vision variant. But, with the addition of nine speakers JBL sound system and panoramic roof. In addition, the AWD drive system has become standard.
