After a long and winding journey, the owner of the BMW E9 3.0 CSi has finally completed the restomod. Because the BMW 3.0 CSi had been stuck in the garage for a long time with a porous and rust-filled body condition, plus the engine was completely dead.
Slowly, the owner began to repair the worn exterior by applying a custom body kit in the style of a CSL racing car.
The aesthetics of this restomod BMW 3.0 CS practically looks attractive with a more aggressive body line, drastically changed from the default version.
Just look at the intake of the front spoiler lips, black garnish on the hood, fender flares, rear bumper, and also large wings. Not just dressing up the exterior, the most surprising part of the restomod BMW 3.0 CS is of course the contents behind the hood.
The built-in 3,000 cc 6-cylinder unit was removed and replaced with a Tesla electric heart to make it faster and more environmentally friendly.
In total, the engine produces an output of 450 hp, while 2 battery packs are used for its power source. The owner claims that this Tesla-animate BMW 3.0 CS is able to run from 0-100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds.
For the maximum mileage of the 3.0 CS with this electric engine, it is claimed to be able to drive a distance of 322 km with a fully charged battery.
For extra power, there is an upgraded Wilwood brake caliper that is stored behind the multi-spoke model rims made by Alpina.
The condition of the cabin was also rejuvenated through a touch of wood trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels to make it seem classic. Including upholstered seats with a blend of fabric and black leather.
