Elon Musk tweeted that the first deliveries of the Tesla Semi Truck will begin in 2022, while the first deliveries of the Cybertruck electric pickup truck will follow in 2023.
This is Tesla’s first official statement regarding the anticipated delivery of the Tesla Semi. Previously, the Tesla CEO had notified the public about the launch of the Cybertruck market mid-2023.

Going back to back, the Tesla Semi electric truck was introduced back in 2017 and was supposed to launch in 2019. Development prototypes have been making regular appearances on the streets since 2018, production was then pushed back to 2020, 2021, and finally 2022.
Previously, Tesla open orders without providing an estimated delivery date. According to Elon Musk, the first Semi units will come in long-range form, with an estimated range of 500 miles (805 km).
The Tesla Semi is equipped with a quad electric motor, allowing it to accelerate from 0-96 km/h (0-60 mph) in 20 seconds, or as low as 5 seconds without a trailer attached.
Tesla hasn’t updated the price of the Semi since it launched five years ago at $150,000. Prices could rise by 2022 standards and inflationary pressures.
