Delta Electronics will supply EVgo with 1,000 fast chargers with up to 350kW power output

One of the largest public fast charging networks in the US, EVgo signs an agreement with Delta Electronics, a global provider of power and energy management solutions and a leader in EV charging solutions.

Under the agreement Delta will supply the EVgo with 1,000 fast chargers with a power output of up to 350kW.

The charger will be used to support the recently announced EVgo project with General Motors (GM).

“EVgo is dedicated to making EV charging convenient and reliable for everyone, which makes it imperative that our network consists of high-quality chargers backed by a track record of innovation, reliability and technology leadership,” said Cathy Zoi, CEO of EVgo in a statement company press.

According to Zoi, the two companies will showcase the strengths and expertise of each other, while supporting the momentum and target of EVgo charging deployments by EVgo across the US.

Delta Electronics has 50 years of experience in power and energy management solutions. Collaboration with EVgo is expected to provide innovative, clean, and energy-efficient solutions for a better future.

“Our e-mobility track record includes not only shipping more than one million EV chargers to our customers worldwide, but also long-term partnerships with world-class EV manufacturers in North America, Europe and Asia,” said Kelvin Huang, President of Delta Electronics Americas Region.

Furthermore, Huang said he was happy to partner with EVgo. “Especially as the United States aims for rapid growth in e-mobility,” he added.
