Tesla has expanded its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) V14 ride-along program across Europe, aiming to increase public exposure to the technology ahead of expected regulatory authorization.
The program, which offers consumers the chance to experience the driver assistance system from the passenger seat, has officially been launched in two additional countries: Denmark and Switzerland. They join the initial European launch markets of Italy, Germany, and France, bringing the total number of participating countries to five.

The ride-along sessions, which have seen overwhelming demand, have been extended in the initial markets and are now available in Denmark (Aarhus, Ribe, and Odense) and Switzerland (Cham, Bern, Zürich, and Basel) until March 31, 2026. A trained Tesla employee remains behind the wheel to supervise the system throughout the demonstration.
The demonstrations showcase how the V14 system, which utilizes an end-to-end neural network, handles complex maneuvers such as navigating busy city streets, merging into traffic, and managing difficult scenarios.

The initiative is a key part of Tesla’s strategy to build consumer confidence and accelerate the regulatory approval process across the continent, which CEO Elon Musk has previously described as “slow and painful.” Tesla’s goal is to obtain authorization to allow customers to purchase or subscribe to the FSD (Supervised) system, potentially starting with approval in the Netherlands in February 2026.
