Suspension issue, Tesla recalls 826 Model Y

Tesla is reportedly recalls Model Y electric car due to suspension issues. It is known that as many as 826 units of this type of electric vehicle were taken back.

According to a report by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), this Tesla Model Y electric car suffered suspension damage. Even in the same report, the suspension is likely to break.

Such situations can lead to fatal accidents, especially if the driver is driving his electric car at high speed. This of course violates the safety of cars and passengers, which is the main task of NHTSA.

But so far there is no certainty which type of Tesla Model Y electric car is experiencing suspension problems. According to the Hindustan Times, the recall was experienced by the Model Y electric vehicles produced on June 16, 2022 and November 10, 2021.

This problem is considered to be causing the suspension joint to separate from the knuckle. If that happens, the driver can detect it from the abnormal noise that appears in that section.

In fact, this is not the first time Tesla has recalled its electric car due to suspension problems. Previously, Tesla also recalled about 2,800 units of its electric vehicle because the front left lateral suspension connection was damaged.

For your information, a number of electric cars that are experiencing recalls are Model 3s produced in 2019 and 2021.
