BMW Start full production of its 75 mph CE 04 electric scooter

BMW has announced that it will start mass production of its first electric scooter, the BMW CE-04. As is known, BMW has launched the CE-04 electric scooter on 7 July 2021.

The first production BMW CE-04 is scheduled to be on the market in early 2022. The price of this electric scooter is estimated at 11,795 dollars.

The BMW CE-04 is equipped with a 42 hp electric motor that can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 2.6 seconds. There is also the L3a-A1 version which has 31 hp. The maximum speed of this electric scooter is 120 km/h. The CE-04 electric scooter is powered by a 60.6 Ah battery that can be driven up to 130 kilometers on a single charge.

Charging the battery at its lowest version takes 4 hours and 20 minutes. Meanwhile, by using a fast charger, charging only takes 1 hour 40 minutes from empty to fully charged. While charging from 20 percent to 80 percent only takes 45 minutes.

This BMW electric scooter is built with the main chassis made of tubular steel. The front suspension uses a 35mm diameter telescopic model. The rear shock absorber uses a spring structure with direct control and is fully closed.

The BMW CE-04 scooter uses tires measuring 120/70 R15 67H at the front and 160/60 R15 56H at the rear. The braking system is equipped with dual discs at the front and single discs at the rear, as well as the new ABS system and ABS Pro as optional.

This electric scooter is also equipped with advanced electronic devices such as an optional Automatic Stability Control (ASC) system, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), and three driving models, namely Eco, Rain, and Road.

The instrument panel of the latest BMW electric scooter uses a 10.25-inch TFT screen that is integrated with smartphones and navigation. The headlights, stop lamps, and turn signal lights already use LEDs.

The BMW CE-04 is available in two color options, namely Light White for the standard version. While the Avantgarde Style version comes in Magellan Gray color with black-orange upholstery.
