By October 2021, Tesla had produced the latest version of the Model X and did deliver several units to their customers. However, since then several customers have reported that they have experienced eight changes to their delivery schedule.
According to Teslarati, some customers who ordered in 2021 received word that their orders that were supposed to arrive in July 2022 will be pushed back from December 2022 to April 2023. It takes approximately two years for customers to wait for their orders.
Terrible news from Tesla regarding our Model X. @elonmusk any more updates here? Looks like it’ll be a 2 year wait before our early 2021 order delivers. This is the 8th estimated delivery window for our MX. pic.twitter.com/OF87ew5wB7

There may be problems in the production of Tesla Model X and Model S. Because if you order the car, your car will arrive in November 2022 to February 2023. This time is not a short time for customers who want to get their new car immediately. However, Tesla offers that if you want to get your car faster, you can buy the Plaid versions of both models.
Tesla said the production problem was caused by a related supplier. However, not only that. Implementing the update of the model is also more difficult than before, so it takes longer than expected. In 2021 ago, the American manufacturer shipped more than 900,000 units for the Model 3 and Model Y, while the Model S and Model Y only amounted to 25,000 units.
