Skywell said it will introduce a comprehensively updated version of its BE11 electric SUV for the 2026 model year, combining a broadened safety feature set and interior upgrades with a sharp reduction in pricing as the brand seeks to strengthen its position in the UK market.
The Chinese-owned, UK-based electric vehicle maker said the BE11 will now start at £31,990, a £5,005 cut from the previous entry price of £36,995. Orders are open immediately, with first customer deliveries scheduled for January 2026, Skywell said, following a year of feedback since the model’s launch in the UK.

A central element of the update is the introduction of a new advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) suite developed and calibrated by Skywell’s UK engineering team. The package adds 11 safety features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and lane keep assist, all tuned specifically for British road conditions. Skywell said the system was validated through thousands of miles of testing across urban and rural routes and in varied weather conditions.
“The 26MY BE11 is the result of close collaboration between our UK and China teams, with more than 20 additional features engineered into the car based directly on customer and market feedback,” said David Clark, general manager of Skywell UK.

The expanded ADAS offering brings the total number of standard safety features on the BE11 to more than 25, Skywell said, when combined with existing equipment such as a 360-degree camera system, hill descent control and a full suite of airbags.
The interior has also been upgraded for the 2026 model year, with heated and ventilated front seats trimmed in perforated leather-style material and Alcantara, expanded ambient lighting with 128 colour options, and revised vehicle-to-load (V2L) hardware compatible with UK and EU standards. Additional USB charging ports have been added for both front and rear passengers, while buyers can opt for a larger 15.6-inch infotainment screen in place of the standard 12.8-inch display.

Skywell said the BE11’s exterior design remains unchanged, aside from updated tailgate badging, and the model continues to be offered in four colours at no extra cost.
The powertrain lineup is unchanged. The BE11 will continue to be offered with either a 72 kilowatt-hour or 86 kWh nickel manganese cobalt battery, delivering WLTP ranges of 248 miles and 303 miles respectively. Both variants use a single front-mounted 150 kW electric motor sourced from BYD and support DC fast charging at up to 80 kW.

With the revised pricing, Skywell said the BE11 now undercuts comparable C-segment electric SUVs by between £3,500 and £14,000. Warranty coverage remains unchanged, including seven years or 100,000 miles for the vehicle and eight years or 155,000 miles for the battery.
