The Skoda Group presented the H’City 12, a bus with hydrogen fuel cell drive that complements Skoda’s electric bus portfolio and has a range of up to 350 kilometers.

The FCEV bus with a length of 12 meters has an output of 160 kW and comes with a maximum capacity of 85 passengers (up to 30 seats). 160 kW is the driving power of the H’City 12.

Skoda does not mention the power of the PEM fuel cell buffer battery in the published datasheet.

This bus has a hydrogen storage capacity of 39 kilograms, which is enough for a range of up to 350 km. In the Skoda datasheet it talks about “fast refueling”, but this is not measured precisely.

Dimensionally, the H’City 12 bus is 12.02 meters long, 2.55 meters wide and 3.43 meters high – weighing between 11.5 and 13 tons. H’City 12 also has a folding ramp for passengers using wheelchairs and two suitable parking spaces in the interior.
