Pošta Srbije, Serbia’s state-owned postal service, has incorporated 216 new electric scooters into its fleet for mail delivery across the country. This acquisition marks the largest procurement of battery-electric delivery vehicles by the organization to date, with the new two-wheelers intended to enhance efficiency and improve working conditions for employees, particularly in rural areas.
While the postal organization did not publicly release the total investment cost or the manufacturer’s details, local media reports estimated the cost of the new electric scooters at approximately 128 million dinar (around €1.1 million).

According to specifications cited by the news portal Beta, the e-scooters are powered by a 3.94 kW electric motor, capable of reaching speeds up to 45 kph. The vehicles are equipped with swappable batteries, providing an estimated range of up to 120 kilometres and a cargo capacity of up to 300 kg. Media speculation suggests these specifications align closely with the ‘N Moto NCF D’ model available in the Serbian market.
This latest delivery is part of a broader fleet overhaul aimed at transitioning away from internal combustion engine vehicles. The Serbian Post has previously added electric vans to its fleet, including 31 battery-electric vans in the summer of 2023 and another 95 vans at the beginning of 2024.

The organization plans a significant further expansion of its electric fleet in the near future. The current fleet is set to be supplemented by 100 new electric cars by the end of this year, followed by an additional 200 electric vehicles by March 2026. Details regarding the manufacturers or technical specifications for these upcoming procurements were not provided by Pošta Srbije. Plans for charging stations at post office branches, which are also expected to be available for public use, have similarly not been fully detailed.
