Chinese electric vehicle maker Rox Motor reported record monthly deliveries in December, underscoring accelerating momentum as the company expands its footprint in overseas markets.

Rox Motor said it delivered 2,528 vehicles in December, marking a 99.37 percent increase from a year earlier and a 74.10 percent rise from November. The performance made it the first Chinese new energy vehicle maker to disclose December delivery figures this year, according to company data.

For the full year 2025, the company delivered 15,318 vehicles, nearly tripling its 2024 volume. Rox Motor has set a target of 30,000 global vehicle sales in 2026, the company said in a statement issued late last month.

Founded in January 2021, Rox Motor has focused primarily on overseas markets rather than domestic sales, a strategy that distinguishes it from most Chinese EV startups. The company launched its first model, the Rox 01 extended-range SUV, in August 2023 and has since expanded into more than 40 international markets.

In December, Rox Motor introduced its second model, the Rox Adamas, positioned as a premium extended-range SUV. The vehicle is priced from 334,900 yuan ($47,930) after incentives and features a 44.5-kilowatt-hour battery supplied by CATL, offering a combined driving range of up to 1,405 kilometers under China’s CLTC testing cycle.

The company said the Adamas reflects its ambition to strengthen its presence in global markets, particularly in the Middle East and other regions where demand for extended-range electric vehicles is growing.
