Renault Opens Orders for Renault 5 E-Tech Electric

Renault has started accepting orders for the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, a fully electric supermini recognized as the European Car of the Year 2025. Public sales will begin on January 29, 2025, with prices starting at £22,995, and the first UK deliveries are expected in Spring 2025.

R Pass members can place early orders and access up to three years of complimentary servicing when financing the vehicle through Mobilize Financial Services before March 31, 2025.

Financing options include 0% APR plans starting at £182 per month with a 30% deposit over 24 months, and 5.5% APR PCP offers with payments beginning at £249 per month and a £555 deposit contribution.

The vehicle is available with two battery options: a 40kWh version with 120hp and a 52kWh version with 150hp, capable of delivering up to 253 miles of range.

The Renault 5 E-Tech Electric combines retro styling with modern features, including a charging indicator on the bonnet and rapid charging that enables an 80% charge in 30 minutes. Other features include a heat pump and vehicle-to-load (V2L) bi-directional charging. Inside, the vehicle seats five and offers a 326-liter boot with additional storage for charging cables.

Three trim levels are available—Evolution, Techno, and Iconic Five—all featuring standard equipment such as 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED headlights, and Google-powered navigation. The car also includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, while the My Renault app offers remote management of charging and climate control.
