Renault Group has unveiled three new all-electric light commercial vehicles (LCVs) under its E-Tech lineup, aiming to expand its presence in the commercial EV segment. The newly announced models—Estafette E-Tech, Goelette E-Tech, and Trafic E-Tech—will be built on a modular skateboard platform developed in collaboration with Flexis, a joint venture involving Renault, Volvo Group, and CMA CGM Group. The automaker said the new vehicles are designed to offer increased scalability and flexibility for fleet operators.
“These three new electric vehicles have been developed to meet a full range of business use cases,” Renault said in a statement. “They will redefine the market segment as part of a full range of EVs that are flexible and scalable.”

The first model, the Estafette E-Tech, reimagines Renault’s iconic van from the 1960s as an all-electric vehicle designed for urban logistics and last-mile deliveries. The Goelette E-Tech, based on a light commercial vehicle produced between 1956 and 1966, will be available in three configurations: chassis cab, box, and tipper, offering multiple solutions for commercial customers.
Meanwhile, the Trafic E-Tech Electric is the fourth-generation version of Renault’s widely used commercial van, originally introduced in 1980. Renault has built approximately 2.5 million units of the Trafic since its debut, and the new electric version is expected to build upon that legacy.

All three models will be produced at Renault’s Sandouville plant in France, a facility that has historically manufactured the automaker’s commercial vehicles. Renault stated that the production launch is planned for 2026, with additional technical specifications and pricing details to be released in the coming months.
The announcement marks another step in Renault’s broader electrification strategy under its “E-Tech” initiative, which aims to transition both passenger and commercial vehicles to fully electric powertrains. The automaker has previously introduced several EVs, including the Renault 4 electric SUV and a 600-km range semi-truck, as part of its push towards sustainable mobility.

By partnering with Volvo Group and CMA CGM Group through Flexis, Renault expects its latest LCV offerings to provide businesses with scalable and cost-efficient electric solutions. The company has indicated that these models will contribute to its long-term goal of reducing emissions while meeting the evolving demands of commercial fleet operators.
