Renault Trucks demonstrated the designs of its two all-electric heavy duty trucks, the E-Tech T and E-Tech C, and has opened orders for both models. The arrival of the electric heavy-duty range from Renault Trucks marks a major step forward in the manufacturer’s commitment to decarbonizing road freight transport.
Renault Trucks is currently the only company offering electric mobility for all uses, from 650 kg cargo bikes to 44 t electric tractors and construction trucks, whose designs have already been published.
These new models will be used for regional distribution and construction and have a specific design for their electric motors. Renault Trucks designers introduced changes to the front end, while maintaining perfect overall harmony.
Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C have graphic markings such as blue hubcaps and vertical stripes on the sides of the vehicle and the Renault Trucks E-Tech badge on the front. The vehicle is also equipped with a new Emblem plate in blue plexiglass.
To increase security, the front of the vehicle is advanced 115 mm and the radar is placed on the side. The chassis also features a retractable base that maximizes space for the battery.
The front panel has been completely revised, Renault Trucks designers took inspiration from the world of electronic music with a pattern reminiscent of an equalizer. To strengthen this electromechanical effect, the front of the vehicle is completely painted.
Finally, the Renault E-Tech T and C Trucks feature a new logo with updated features. Placed on the front panel, the aluminum diamonds on the front grille get a glossy black background giving the vehicle a modern and sophisticated look.
The Renault Truck’s change in visual identity, embodied by a very modern monochrome logo, underscores the manufacturer’s acceleration and commitment to the decarbonization of transportation.
Renault Trucks is determined to meet the climate challenge by continuously developing cleaner, safer and more circular transportation solutions to accompany its customers towards carbon neutrality.
Renault Trucks E-Tech T and C are already available for pre-order from the European subsidiary of Renault Trucks. Haulier, wishing to purchase an electric vehicle from the heavy-duty class, can already reserve its first production slot. Production of the Renault E-Tech T and C Trucks will start in late 2023 in Bourg-en-Bresse, France.
